What bores you?
The main thing that bores me is passé fashion trends. That’s why I always look for the unique and interesting.

Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.
My favorite pair of shoes are a pair of 1940s brown combat boots from WW II that I bought in an army surplus store, in Santa Monica, while writing a fashion article about military chic for the Daily Breeze newspaper. They’ve taken me everywhere, and are particularly handy, on rainy days at my day job as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for LAUSD.


Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?
Yes I am patriotic. Patriotism means to me representing and supporting your country no matter what.

If I got some great, amazingly fantastic news the first thing I’d do is thank God.

Right now, my favorite candy is Mentos..

Do you need a break? From what?
I definitely need a break from my day job as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for LAUSD everyday, so I take a nap with my cat Zombie, when I get home from work. It never fails to rejuvenate me.

The most important invention in your lifetime is…
The most important invention in my lifetime is the computer because it makes life easier and allows one to advance intellectually at a quicker pace than in previous years.

What would you do if you won the lottery?
If I won the lottery I’d move to San Francisco with Zombie, my cat, and start my own fashion magazine, Persona.




What books do you want to read?
I’d like to read Poor Things by Alastair Gray, The Life And Trials Of A Special Ed Student by Cedric McKnight and The Foreign Exchange by Veronica G. Henry.




Name an attraction or town close to home that you still haven’t got around to visiting.
A town close to home I haven’t visited yet is Catalina Island. Now that I’m developing local wanderlust it’s definitely on my list of places to visit soon.
