Are you superstitious?
Yes I’m superstitious when it comes to wearing certain clothes. For instance, I always wear green when I need to feel renewed and fresh.

Where would you go on a shopping spree?
I would go on a shopping spree at a Hello Kitty store.

What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.
I hate to be asked, “How old are you?”, because I’ve been the victim of ageism both professional and in personal situations. So when someone asks how old I am, I tell them I’m 210.

What experiences in life helped you grow the most?
The experiences in life that helped me grow the most are those where I have to learn how to depend on myself to get over.

Do you believe in fate/destiny?
Yes I believe in fate and destiny, especially if you help it along with honest effort and perseverance.

Do you enjoy your job?
I actually have three jobs that I enjoy at certain times of the day. My writing job I enjoy when I’m writing, my job at a store I enjoy when I’m working with customers and my education job when I’m teaching students and helping them learn.

If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?
If I could be someone else for the day I’d be Jesus Christ because after all my years since my death I’m still being talked about and influencing people in a positive way.

What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?
The biggest challenge I’ll face in the next six months is keeping up my work ethic for the three jobs I have and staying healthy physically, psychologically and emotionally.

Who are your favorite people to be around?
My favorite people to be around are positive-minded fashionistas.

What bores you?
The main thing that bores me is passé fashion trends. That’s why I always look for the unique and interesting.

Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.
My favorite pair of shoes are a pair of 1940s brown combat boots from WW II that I bought in an army surplus store, in Santa Monica, while writing a fashion article about military chic for the Daily Breeze newspaper. They’ve taken me everywhere, and are particularly handy, on rainy days at my day job as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for LAUSD.
