What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?
The most money I’ve spent on a meal lately was around $60 for pho soup. It was definitely worth it because it helped me during my gastric bypass surgery recovery.

What’s your go-to comfort food?
My go-to comfort food is Italian gnocchis. I love the ones at “Pasta Sisters” with green pesto and a side order of chicken and the gnocchi dish at “Ugo Cafe”. Yummy!

Dogs or cats?
Now that I own and love my beloved cat Zombie I prefer cats. He’s truly shown me what love and commitment are. I thank God for him everyday!

What bothers you and why?
The main thing that bothers me is mean-spirited behavior. It bothers me because it’s needless, negative, and unnecessary.

If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?
I would invite Jenna Lyons so I could ask her about her style.

What do you think gets better with age?
I think a sense of style gets better with age.

You get some great, amazingly fantastic news. What’s the first thing you do?
If I got some great, amazingly fantastic news the first thing I’d do is thank God.

What are you most excited about for the future?
The thing I’m most excited about is finishing my first book, I Like Your Look: Real Style for Real Women.

What’s your definition of romantic?
My definition of romantic is embracing the beautiful side of life.

What are your daily habits?
My daily habits include doing yoga (when I have the time), reading to my cat Zombie, writing in my journal, working on my first book, coordinating my clothes for work, working as a Special Education Instructional Assistant from Monday through Friday and a Sales Associate on Saturday and Sunday, posting on IG, Facebook and my blog “Lookin’ Good, Feelin’ Good” (“Outfit of the Day”), listening to classical music on KUSC, looking at vintage movies, with Zombie, after work then going to bed.

Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?
The things I practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle is to reuse pharmacy bottles as change dispensers, reuse plastic and recyclable bags to carry things in, and wear secondhand and vintage clothing along with contemporary items for a unique look.
