Today I had to go to the bank, and I’ve been feeling particularly stressed so I went to “Marshalls” and bought two pairs of plaid pants, one by Eli’s Tahari and another by Rachel Zoe, a green plaid top by Tahari, and a pink coatigan by Paper Heart. Then I went to “Michaels” and bought “Drawing With Christopher Hart The Master Guide To Drawing Anime”, “The Ultimate Guide to MANGA & ANIME” collector’s issue, etc., to get my Manga drawing on.

While retail therapy only helped me process slightly how a six year old could shoot a teacher in Virginia following an altercation it still helped me escape for a little while.

The day I chose this outfit I decided not to go out, so I didn’t wear it and it went back into the closet. This morning, when I knew I had to go out, I pulled it back out and paired it with a gray/white scarf. Not only did it work as repeat dressing it also helped lift my mood and relieve the stress of having to coordinate an outfit from scratch.
